Cary Deuber is very happy in her marriage to Mark, but she wants to switch her role around. Cary has been working closely with Mark in their clinic, but now Deuber wants to spend more time at home with her daughter, as she's growing up fast. While Deuber enjoys her time at home with her daughter, her husband seems to be affected by this shift. On the first season of "The Real Housewives of Dallas," Cary revealed that she enjoyed working. She would go to the office to hang out with her husband, work with clients, and do yoga. But this season, Cary is focusing on her health, her child, and finally, her husband.

It sounds like Mark needs to learn how to take care of himself.

On Monday's episode of "The Real Housewives of Dallas," Cary Deueber revealed that things were a bit tense between them. Mark didn't seem impressed that his wife was baking cookies or goofing around with her daughter. According to Bravo TV, Cary Deuber is now speaking out about her marriage and she revealed that it isn't perfect.

Trouble in paradise

Of course, the ladies on "The Real Housewives of Dallas" have shared their marital troubles. Brandi Redmond was one of the women who truly struggled during the first season. However, she has come back stronger than ever and her marriage appears to be doing well. Stephanie Hollman appears to have a power struggle in her marriage to Travis, and LeeAnne Locken is still asking for an engagement ring.

As for Deuber, she revealed that there has been tension.

"I feel there’s definitely been a growing irritation with me coming from Mark because he senses that he’s no longer automatically my number one. I’m starting to gradually back off of work, and he’s definitely not happy about it," Cary revealed in her Bravo blog about her marriage.

Needing attention

It sounds like Mark really needs attention from his wife. He is clearly not happy with her being at home with their daughter, as he now has to share the attention. During Monday's episode, he also revealed that he wasn't too pleased with the fact that a glass of wine wasn't ready for him and the portion size was small.

It just seemed like a dig that he had to make to point out to his wife that she would be better in the office with him. But it sounds like Cary really wants to stay at home with their daughter, and her husband, who needs attention to be happy, just has to deal with it.

What do you think of Cary Deuber's decision to open up about the tension in her marriage?
