It is back to work for Kid Flash and Cisco Ramon aka Vibe when 'The Flash' Season 4 returns to The CW on Oct. 10. New behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of Episode 1 revealed a new meta-human villain in Central City.
'The Flash: Reborn'
A new meta-human wrecks havoc in Central City when Season 4 premieres with 'The Flash: Reborn'. In this episode, Wally West, aka Kid Flash, (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) team up with Joe West (Jesse Martin) to capture the villain.
Behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of Episode 1 from YVR Shoots show the duo out on the street, possibly strategizing on how to capture the enemy.
Vibe and Kid Flash work alongside the Central City Police Department (CCPD) to apprehend the meta-human.

Who is the new meta-human villain?
It is still unknown who portrays the character, although the photos hint as to what type of meta-human this is. Twitter user ThemysciraBound shared a couple of images of the villain who resembles a samurai. This meta-human could be one of the Samuroids, which in 'The Flash' comic book universe, are robotic Samurai warriors built by Baron Katana after World War II.
Samuroids have electrified swords, jet pack and wear indestructible armors.
Fans can expect to see this meta-human use his jet pack in Episode 1 as seen in one of the photos. Joe, Cisco and Kid Flash stared with mouths open as they looked up to the sky. It is unclear though how this Japanese medieval character ended up in present Central City in 'The Flash' Season 4.
Perhaps another time traveling is involved.

Synopsis confirms meta-human presence in 'The Flash' Season 4
These photos of the new meta-human villain in Episode 1 came after The CW released the synopsis for the new season.
Apparently, even with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) trapped in the Speed Force, meta-humans continue to threaten Central City. It is now up to Kid Flash, Cisco, Jesse, Iris and the rest of Team Flash to apprehend these villains.
However, the synopsis from Fansided also hints at Barry's return to help his friends. He continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans. This could mean that the new season does not linger on Barry's absence for long. Speculations point to Cisco and Kid Flash doing some kind of intervention to help the speedster out of the Speed Force.
Likewise, the summary mentions Iris West (Candice Patton) as part of Team Flash, which coincides with what Patton said about her character's purpose in Season 4. She revealed that Iris assumes the role of the team's leader in the scarlet speedster's absence.
