rachel lindsay made a huge decision tonight on ABC’sThe Bachelorette.” She cut her final six guys down to four. These lucky men will go on the hometown dates, set to air on next week’s episode of the popular dating series.

Tonight’s dates

Tonight, Rachel faced a tough decision when it came to picking her final four men. However, in a “Bachelorette” first, she decided to nix the rose ceremony and give out roses on the dates instead.

Bryan was up first with a one-on-one date that consisted of shopping, a boat ride, and of course a lot of kissing and talking.

The two have a strong connection and he has admitted that he is in love with her. She says her feelings for him are strong but has yet to actually tell him how she feels.

However, the two bond over the fact that they both went to private school and talk about past relationships.

Dean gets the second one-on-one date, where the visit a church, meet couples who have been married for a long time and tour the city. They also enjoy a meal and good conversation, talking about their pasts, their journeys on the show and everything in between.

However, he admits that he is apprehensive about how things are going and especially feels pressure about getting the second one-on-one date. This kind of worries Rachel and leaves her second guessing their relationship.

Peter gets the third one-on-one, which means that Matt, Adam, and Eric are on the three-on-one date. They are under the most pressure because there is a very good possibility that only one of them will be getting a rose.

Peter’s date consists of a tour of the Swiss Alps and a lot of talking. He admits he thought about leaving the show when things got tough.

Rachel worries and wonders about where they stand in terms of their relationship. He also tells her about how he hurt his last girlfriend and it took him a long time to open up again. She is happy that he was able, to be honest, but is still a bit worried about things with him.

The three-on-one is everyone enjoying time together and Rachel just talking to the guys in order to get to know them better.

She spends a lot of time with each of them, asking questions about their past relationships and lives, finally coming to a decision about who she is keeping.

Who got roses?

At the end of the night, Rachel gave roses to Bryan, Peter, Dean, and Eric. She sent Matt and Adam home in tears. She said she had to be selfish and do what was best for her and her future.

Tune in next week to see the hometown dates.
