"Teen Mom OG" star Amber Portwood is reportedly thrilled to finally have gotten rid of former fiance Matt Baier. Amber and Matt, who were together for about three years, had a very "toxic" relationship, and fans saw it play out on the MTV reality series. The couple were often the center of media rumors and speculation, and sadly some of those rumors turned out to be true.
'TMOG' stars Amber and Matt are officially over
According to Hollywood Life, Amber Portwood is completely ready to move on with her life now that she and Matt Baier have broken up.
The "Teen Mom" star is said to be "glad" she and Matt split after she had a miserable time filming "Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars" with him. During their relationship, Portwood and Baier went through a ton of drama, including Matt lying about the amount of children he had fathered, allegedly stealing money from Amber, failing a lie detector test, and even giving Catelynn Lowell drugs. Sources claim that Matt offering Catelynn a Xanax when he was supposed to be in recovery was the last straw for Amber, and she knew their relationship was over after that point. However, she still went to "Marriage Bootcamp" with him, and the two are now no longer together and living apart. Baier is said to be living in Las Vegas while Portwood is back home in Indiana.
Single lady
An insider close to Amber Portwood reveals that the "Teen Mom OG" star is currently adjusting to being single again, but that she's really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for her. Amber is likely now focused on her business, an online clothing boutique, as well as her daughter, Leah, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend, Gary Shirley.
The insider also adds that Amber believes there is "zero chance" of she and Matt ever getting back together, and there has been way too much drama between the two for them to ever reconcile their romantic relationship.
They are never getting back together
Meanwhile, Amber recently revealed during an interview with Dr. Drew on his podcast that she does still speak to Matt.
The "Teen Mom OG" star says that there are still feelings between them that can't just be shut off because of their split, and that she's working on moving on in her life. Portwood also revealed that she will not be seeking legal action against Baier for the money that he allegedly took from her, but would appreciate it if he would man up and pay her back in the future. Amber's journey can be seen on "Teen Mom OG" which airs on MTV.
