Is one of the "Teen Mom 2" cast members moving over to join the network's other big show, "The Challenge?" Rumors are flying that it may be happening. According to In Touch Weekly magazine, Javi Marroquin, who is known for being Kailyn Lowry's ex-husband, and the father of her son, Lincoln, may be switching over to another MTV reality series. Javi is allegedly being considered to join "The Challenge" as a cast member, and fans believe he would be perfect for the show, which is all about doing physical challenges in competition form.

Javi Marroquin may be competing on 'The Challenge'

The Ashley's Reality Roundup reports that MTV has decided to possibly include some stars from their other shows on "The Challenge," and as of right now, Javi Marroquin is the only "Teen Mom" star who has received a call to possibly compete on Season 31 of the series. Of course, this isn't the first time that Javi has wanted to switch gears on MTV. In the past, Marroquin has campaigned to land a spot on the network's popular dating series, "Are You The One?" After Javi's divorce from Kailyn Lowry, the single dad revealed that he was looking for love, and wanted to try to find it on the series. However, since that time, Javi has met a new woman, and is currently in a relationship with her.

So, it seems that only time will tell if Javi Marroquin would be able to switch gears from "Teen Mom 2" in order to head over to "The Challenge" for Season 31. However, if he decides it is something that he may be interested in, he might have a hard time getting away for the time it takes to film the show. The reports reveal that competitors could be away for up to seven weeks if they make it to the finals on the series.

This would mean that Javi could possibly be away from his son, Lincoln, for nearly two months. Marroquin also has his job in the air force to think about. It may be hard for him to get enough time off to film the show if MTV decided to let him do so.

'Teen Mom' want to root for Javi if he appears on the show

Javi Marroquin has become a huge fan favorite among "Teen Mom 2" viewers, and they would likely love to see him compete on "The Challenge" in the future.

Javi would likely fit in well with the other cast members as he's a workout junkie, and often posts videos on his Snapchat story of him at the gym or at competitions. Fans are already excited about the possibility of Javi joining "The Challenge," and would be rooting for him if he makes it on the show.
