"Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn Lowry has a lot on her plate right now. The MTV mom is getting ready to welcome her third child, and this time she's doing it completely solo. Kail will be a single mom from the get go this time around, and she's been trying to prepare herself mentally and physically for the new journey that lies ahead when the baby is born in the next few weeks.
Kail is preparing for a major life change
According to Hollywood Life, the "Teen Mom 2" fan favorite has been busy prepping for the arrival of her unborn child, but she hasn't been neglecting her mommy duties to her two older sons, Isaac and Lincoln.
Sources reveal that Kailyn Lowry has been totally focused on being the best mother she can possibly be to all of her children and has even been doing some research to fine tune her parenting skills.
Single mom status
The insider reveals that while Kailyn Lowry is "somewhat terrified" about being a single mother of three children, she has been feeling much more confidant as of late due to making a baby routine and having it become like "second nature" to her in the weeks before the birth. The source adds that the "Teen Mom 2" star "knows exactly what to do" in situations like a baby that won't stop crying or won't feed. She's feeling less panicked and more calm as she allegedly is trying to eliminate as much stress and drama from her life as possible.
"The kids always come first, so she’s got her priorities straight," the source says.
Baby daddy drama
As many "Teen Mom 2" fans know, Kailyn revealed that Chris Lopez was the father of her third child. However, it seems that Lopez doesn't want to play daddy to Lowry's baby. He has stayed mostly silent on social media, and insiders reveal that he basically wants nothing to do with raising the child once it arrives.
This will be a first for Kail who is used to having very involved dads in her children's lives. The father of her son Isaac, Jo Rivera, moved to a different state just to be near his son, and has been co-parenting with his ex wonderfully. Javi Marroquin, who is the father of Kail's son, Lincoln, is also a very involved father.
The two often spend time together while co-parenting, and Javi even takes Isaac for big chunks of time and calls Kail's oldest son his best friend.
New season of TM2 starts this month
Fans can watch Kailyn Lowry's pregnancy journey during the brand new season of "Teen Mom 2," which begins airing on MTV on July 17. In addition to Kail's big baby news, Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, and new cast member Briana DeJesus will also be dealing with pregnancy and birth during the season.
