In recent news, Jensen Ackles shared a photo announcing that the show's team is beginning production on “Supernatural” season 13. The season premiere is still months away. However, fans can look forward to seeing stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles in less than two weeks at SDCC. Interestingly, Jensen Ackles is back in British Columbia to start filming for the new season of "Supernatural" and even took to hia various social media accounts to share a Comic-Con poster which features himself as Dean Winchester and Jared Padalecki as his brother, Sam.

“Supernatural” star Jensen Ackles posted a picture on Instagram. As fans know, Dean does not sport a beard. In fact, Ackles revealed in his caption that he was already in Canada to pick up filming and to bid his "hiatus beard" goodbye.
On another note, It can be recalled that season 12 ended with a roller coaster of events. First of all, Dean had showed his emotions to his mother, Mary (Samantha Smith). And while the moment was heartbreaking, Dean and Sam in the end lost Mary when she talked about Lucifer. Fan favorite Castiel also suffered a great deal in the season 12 finale.
There are two major stories that are confirmed for the new season. The first is that "Supernatural" season 13 will be doing a crossover episode with "Scooby-Doo." Ackles and Padalecki revealed in the news at The CW's Upfront presentation earlier this year, and the second story is the spin-off idea that could cast Kim Rhodes as Sheriff Mills and a bunch of other familiar faces.

Meanwhile, fans were all excited and took to social media to comment on an image from TV Guide Magazine's Comic-Con 2017 issue. Ackles posted an image to his Twitter account, saying, "I have so many thought bubbles for this photo. Please share yours. #WBSDCC #SPNFamily." The actor also shared the poster on his Instagram account.
Avid fans of the "Supernatural" series showed their support by commenting on his account and saying they are all thrilled and could not wait for the new season.
As for the bad news, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) will not be appearing in the next season. It can be recalled that he had sacrificed himself for a greater cause. The show's actors, as well as the executive producers, are all expected to tackle about The CW's “Supernatural” Season 13 panel on 23 July at 10:30-11:30 am EST.
