"Orphan Black" Season 5 finally brings Sarah and Rachel together for the sake of Kira but there might be a problem in the Clone Club. Read on for more details.
Episode 7 Recap
The episode shared the moments of Rachel's life as a DYAD clone which hasn't been easy but she might have a good thing going for her. Upon learning that Susan (Rosemary Dunsmore) and Ira (Ari Millen) are dead, Rachel thought that she had a new father figure in PT Westmoreland (Scottie Hattie).
She then found out about the lies when Cosima and Sarah began probing about his past.
In addition to this, Rachel learned that he had been keeping tabs on her via the robotic right eye despite signing an emancipation agreement.
Rachel had a change of heart when she saved Kira (Skyler Wexler) from a life similar to hers. She and Mrs. S briefly acknowledged their new alliance as they wheeled a sleeping Kira out while Rachel stayed behind.
Episode 7 "Gag or Throttle" ended with her impromptu operation on her eye which signifies Rachel's decision to literally cut her ties with Westmoreland and the institute.

Titled as "Guillotines Decide," "Orphan Black" Season 5 Episode 8 will show an ordinary moment in the complicated world of clones when they celebrate an upcoming art gallery opening for Felix (Jordan Gavaris).
The said gathering wouldn't be simple and boring as everyone dressed up for the occasion.
Cosima looked like she's having fun on the dance floor. Her on-and-off lover Delphine (Evelyn Brochu) was also seen sharing a group shot with Felix and the others. Sarah, on the other hand, might put Krystal's past comment to shame because she looked like a 10 in her awkward-yet-rocker-chick-inspired ensemble.
This probably takes place after he and Adele (Lauren Hammersley) tracked DYAD's financial pursuits in Europe. Speaking of their detective work, the sleuthing missions for the sestras continues. Sarah and the other clones will also help Felix "impress a famous gallerist."
Episode 8 is the most shocking episode yet
We are only two episodes away from the show's final trip but there are still more exciting things for the fans.
The series even put up a no-spoilers teaser. BBC America said in the description added, "Next week's episode of Orphan Black is so shocking, we can't show you anything."
The "Orphan Black" spoilers tease a surprising change in the mother-and-daughter relationship of Mrs. S and Sarah. It entails that Sarah thinks Mrs. S is hiding something from her. It will be quite surprising for her since the two of them have been serving a five-season long of badassery.
The video from Space included an action-packed confrontation between Mrs. S and Ferdinand (James Frain). Sarah's foster mom and Rachel's occasional lover pointed their own guns at one another. Is Mrs. S a bad guy or not? Will she team up with the Neolution as well?
The promotional photos show some updates on the other characters. A pregnant Helena might be in big trouble after Gracie (Zoe Grand de Maison) and Mark appeared again. Meanwhile, Rachel will now deal with the aftermath of her betrayal.
"Orphan Black" Season 5 Episode 8 "Guillotines Decide" will air on Saturday, July 29, 2017, on BBC America.
