Danielle Brooks is being honest when she said that she almost passed up a role on Netflix's "Orange Is The New Black" (OITNB) when she realized there's a nude scene included with her character. The 27-year-old native of Georgia, in an interview with People, said she wasn't aware the show was going to be one of the dream jobs she had out there. She also added that while she may have doubted getting the role, she is thankful that she did.

The actress, who takes pride in her body, recently posted on Instagram a selfie that exposes her tummy and captioned, "It's so hot, I'm showing my Tummy all week!" Now, Brooks says the hardest part the "OITNB" production is NOT having too much fun about it.

Apparently, it's the friendship that the casts had created that made things bearable while shooting the show. Brook's role in "Orange is the New Black" has improved over time, from being the conventional inmate in Season 1 to a likable protagonist in this season's new episodes.

Danielle Brook in Orange is the New Black

Danielle Brooks plays the role of Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson, who in Season 1 was granted parole but eventually returned to the Litchfield Penitentiary after having trouble coping with the life outside prison. When she returned, she was never the same Taystee that the other inmates knew prior to her release. When asked what she thinks of the character she's portraying, Brooks implied that the character of Taystee is strong and unwavering.

"Orange is the New Black" is a Netflix original comedy-drama show created by Jenji Kohan. It star's "That 70's Show" alum Laura Prepon who plays Alex Vause and Taylor Schilling as Piper Chapman. The story begins when New Yorker and happily engaged Chapman is brought to prison over an illegal trade done 10 years ago. In prison, she comes across her ex-girlfriend Alex, who convinced her to carry that suitcase with drugs.
