One of the actors who is excitedly awaiting the "GOT" Season 7 premiere is Kit Harington, who plays the role of Jon Snow. He has been a very poignant character since season 1, taking part of the "GOT" plot twist that made the fans wonder if Jon Snow is really dead. Fast forward to 2017 and Kit Harington's character has come full circle. In the final moments of trying to claim the throne, major characters are expected to fight it tooth and nail.

High tension between Jon Snow and Sansa Stark

According to Entertainment Weekly, Kit Harington revealed that the tension between his "Game Of Thrones" character and Sansa Stark is not merely sibling rivalry. The "Pompeii" actor elaborated that the stakes are high between Jon Snow and Sansa Stark's rivalry because it blows up to be a power play between two people who are hungry for power.

It has already been an established fact that Jon Snow and Sansa have never been chummy with each other. The fights may condescend once in a while, but the tension between two alphas cannot be overlooked. That said, the upcoming "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 will tackle the deepening sibling rivalry of the said characters.

Petyr Baelish's fault

In the last season, there was a short joyful moment between the siblings when they joined forces to defeat their common enemy, Ramsay Bolton.

During that time, they were also able to reclaim Winterfell. This was a great example that together, they are really stronger and more powerful.

However, here comes Petyr Baelish, who tries to poison the thoughts of Sansa Stark, causing a gap between the siblings. Petyr Baelish keeps on convincing Sansa that the power is much too great to be shared with her brother.

More speaking lines for Kit Harington

Aside from spilling the upcoming power struggle between his character and Sophie Turner's, Kit Harington also shared that he is quite happy with how "Game Of Thrones" season 7 turned out to him. He said that he has more speaking lines for the upcoming season compared to previous ones where he just seems to nod and grunt most of the time. "Game Of Thrones" season 7 premieres on July 16 on HBO.
