Romance on set?

Earlier today, People Magazine reported that the "Spider-man: Homecoming" stars are currently dating and that their relationship started while they were filming their new movie.

According to the article, Zendaya and Tom have decided to keep their relationship a secret and outside the public eye. It seems that they want to keep things private and between them so they can have a better chance to make it work. People's source also shares that the pair has been trying their best to spend quality time together, even going on vacations as a couple.

A different source explains that the lovebirds enjoy a very good "connection" and share several things in common, sharing that "They’re both really ambitious and they challenge each other — but, most importantly, they make each other crack up. They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth."

It sounds like a lovely relationship, doesn't it?

But, is it true?

After the news of their relationship came out, many fans were sharing on social media their excitement over the union. Alas, even when many people were happy about it, there were others that didn't feel as enthusiastic about the news. Zendaya herself took to Twitter to share her response to the allegations, and soon enough, Tom Holland's answer followed.

The actress was the first one to talk about her "new relationship". She explained that the rumors couldn't possibly be true since she hasn't even been on vacation in a long time. Meanwhile, Holland answered to her in a tweet asking if maybe the "press tour counted" towards the supposed vacations they took together.

It seems that after all, the rumors of them being a couple were, sadly, not true. With some humor, the pair of actors finally put the gossip mill to rest.
