Warner Bros. just dropped the juiciest details for the coming “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” sequel. The film is currently titled “Fantastic Beasts 2” and fans are about to see the return of their favorite characters.

Of course, Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, and Dan Fogle will be reprising their roles in the coming movie sequel. However, the most intriguing return of them all is Ezra Miller’s character as Credence Barebone.

Credence’s return

A lot of viewers believe that Credence Barebone is already dead as he disappears in the dark cloud in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”

But, as he returns in “Fantastic Beasts 2,” fans can assure that he will once again bring chaos and mayhem in the world of wizardry.

Ezra Miller’s character is one of the most important roles in the movie. In fact, his “his darkly vulnerable performance” is considered as one of the strongest in the cast, Inverse reported.

However, with the turmoil he is about to bring, his connection with Lord Voldemort may just emerge. Credence Barebone is one of the characters in the spin-off movie that didn’t appear in the original “Harry Potter” series, but he still plays a vital role.

The mysterious wizard

Credence Barebone is incredibly mysterious. Although he is said to have a link to The Dark Lord, he can’t be tagged as his father because he is a muggle.

But, there is a big possibility that he is Severus Snape’s grandfather. Evidently, he and the Defense Against the Dark Arts’ professor have the similar haircuts.

Also, they shared the same sullen dispositions in life, and the timeline is quite accurate.

Credence Barebone is still a teenager in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” set in 1926. Severus Snape’s mother Eileen Prince was born in the 1930s. Although the Potions Master’s old woman is using the surname Prince, details about their family are scarce.

Thus Ezra Miller’s character could have just changed his last name.

Additional characters

Meanwhile, aside from aforementioned returning stars, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor Johnny Depp will also return to reprise his role as the Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. Also, Zoë Kravitz will be once again seen as Leta Strange.

Jude Law is also making his debut appearance in “Fantastic Beasts 2” as the future headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore. Callum Turner also joins the sequel as Theseus Scamander while Claudia Kim will be added to play the role of a mysterious young woman at the wizarding circus.
