Eileen Davidson announced that she was leaving “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” this past weekend, as pictures of her former co-stars surfaced online, partying it up in Las Vegas. In one of the pictures of all the ladies, it was revealed that Eileen Davidson was missing from the cast. Of course, she could just have been taking time away from filming to focus on her other two shows, but some people expected that she may have quit the show.

Eileen didn't say anything at the time but after realizing that people were already assuming that she wasn't filming the show, she decided to make an announcement that she had indeed ended her relationship with Bravo at this point in time.

In her official statement for her exit, Davidson hinted she's leaving the show behind now to focus on her other two professional ventures that she has going on.

Too busy to film the show?

She is currently filming “Days of Our Lives” and “The Young and the Restless.” But Davidson reveals that she may pop in time and again on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” because she is still friends with some of the ladies. She has developed quite the friendship with Lisa Rinna and they may continue to hang out even though Eileen is no longer on the show.

It also sounds like she may just be taking some time off to show to focus on her other two shows because they're taking up more of her time. This doesn't mean that she will never return to the real housewives of Beverly Hills again.

It sounds like she's leaving the door open to return to the show even though she is not filming this current season of the show. Maybe she realizes that a lot of housewives have been returning to the hit reality shows after spending some time away from the franchise.

The door is still open

It's been quite a success for some of these wives’ returns, including Bethenny Frankel and even Nene Leakes.

Maybe Eileen is trying to do the same thing by taking one or two seasons off the show and then returning in a few years. As for people on Twitter, it sounds like they're more relieved than anything else that she’s not returning to the show. Perhaps Eileen's nondramatic lifestyle wasn’t enough for fans to get excited about her role in the show.

What do you think about Eileen Davidson leaving the door open for a possible return to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” down the line? Are you surprised that she's now leaving the show to focus on other professional career choices?
