"Days Of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that fans are about to see another big character leave Salem in the near future. The latest reports about the NBC soap opera reveal that actor Jordi Vilasuso will be exiting the role of Dario Hernandez very soon. While the exit isn't exactly shocking considering what Dario has been getting himself into as of late, it does look like Rafe and Gabi will go from having their entire family in Salem to being the only members of the Hernandez family left standing in the town.

Goodbye Dario Hernandez

According to Soap Hub, "Days of our Lives" fans will say goodbye to Dario in August, which could lead some "DOOL" viewers to suspect that he is actually the one who killed Deimos Kiriakis.

Abby is hot on Dario's trail, and it seems that this storyline will be the thing that sends Dario out of Salem for good, freeing up Abby to finally reunite with the love of her life, Chad DiMera, very soon.

'DOOL' characters are dropping like flies

"Days of our Lives" enthusiasts know that the soap has lost a lot of big characters over the past few years. Characters like Sami Brady, EJ DiMera, Will Horton, Theresa Donovan, and Bo Brady have all left Salem or died. Meanwhile, Arianne Zucker has already filmed her last scenes as Nicole Walker, and "DOOL" fans will see her say her goodbyes in the coming months.

Thankfully, some characters are on their way back to Salem. Will Horton will rise from the dead to return to the soap with fan-favorite actor Chandler Massey in the role. Eileen Davidson is also returning to the show in the role of either Kristen or Susan, and Alison Sweeney recently filmed a 2-month stint as Sami Brady. Some fans even believe that EJ DiMera will be returning from the dead as well.

New head writer means new hot drama?

"Days of our Lives" recently hired a brand new head writer Ron Carlivati, and viewers are more than excited to see what storylines he'll be bringing to Salem as he creates new drama for our favorite characters.

Carlivati has already instituted the return of Will and Sami, and fans are wondering if he'll be able to restore the Soap Opera to its former glory and entice anymore former favorite characters to return to Salem in the near future.
