Newlyweds Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth were “caught in the act” defying Duggar family rules on courtship. While on courtship, they are only allowed side hugs. However, Joy-Anna and her husband were caught on a tight hug not by her parents but by Cameramen hiding behind trees. The hug was not allowed during courtship.

The Duggar daughter was surprised to see cameramen sneaking around when Austin proposed

Austin joked that those cameramen looked like trees and they thought they were the only people in the woods when he proposed. The 22-year-old husband admitted that they tried hard to follow the rules but because they were so happy and excited, they hugged each other. She revealed that she did not know there were cameramen around the area according to People. The proposal happened and surprised Joy-Anna thinking that they were just out in the woods to go horseback riding with Austin’s sisters.

Two months after the proposal, Joy-Anna and Austin were married in Arkansas and the couple is now sharing their lives together as husband and wife.

After 15 years of friendship, they are now married and living on house renovated by Austin who works as a house flipper.

Despite her young age, Joy-Anna was allowed by her parents to marry Austin. He has been known to the Duggar family for 15 years. The Forsyth family moved to Arkansas and attended the church where the Duggar family attends. The couple became friends since they were kids and worked together in the church for many years.

Austin considers his wife as the ideal woman he wants to marry. He describes her as diligent and a devout Christian. They have many things in common and one of them is their love of the outdoors. In fact, many of the things listed on their wedding registry are for camping.

Joy-Anna leaving the family home was a sad thing for the younger Duggar children as they were seen crying in the upcoming “Counting On” trailer. She is the fourth daughter to get married and the youngest to marry.

Fans of the Duggars were surprised when the 19-year-old “19 Kids and Counting” star married five months ahead of the publicized date as stated on their wedding registry which is October 28. Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth got married on May 20. The newlyweds went to Switzerland for their honeymoon according to the Brides. They have already returned home and settled in a home near the Duggar’s home. The Forsyths are also living nearby.
