The Super Bowl halftime show is one of the most anticipated parts of the annual sporting championship game of the biggest sports league, the National Football League. It is even the most viewed event on American television. For some, it is the only part of the final game that is worth watching. In the recent Super Bowl halftime show, only the famous and musical phenomenal artists are invited such as Beyonce, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, and Michael Jackson.

As part of the National Football League championship Super Bowl, a musician leads the halftime show and performs for 12 minutes to 20 minutes on stage. However, getting an invitation for one of the most prestigious stages is very difficult. With this, Billboard has posted a poll titled "Who should play 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Show? Vote!" It allows the viewers and fans to select from big names in the industry. The 2018 Super Bowl nominees include Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood, Twenty One Pilots, and Britney Spears.
However, the nominees also include one single K-pop group, BTS.

As soon as ARMY's got a hold of the Billboard poll for the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show, they immediately went to work. With this, Korean group BTS is now leading the poll with roughly 63% votes followed by Justin Bieber with 14.53% votes.
Meanwhile, Twenty One Pilots gained 5.97%, Rihanna gained 4.34%, Britney Spears gained 3.54%, The Weeknd gained 2.26%, Taylor Swift gained 2.08%, Maroon 5 gained 1.54%, and Kanye West gained 1.06% votes. Other nominees got lower than 1% votes such as Miley Cyrus with 0.91% and Carrie Underwood has 0.57% votes. Some voters have nominated other artists as well.
However, it gained only 0.94%.
Fans reveal BTS should not perform in 2018 Super Bowl
After BTS led the Billboard poll for the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show, a lot of fans expressed their excitement and support. However, several fans also revealed the reasons why BTS should not perform in the next Super Bowl. One BTS fan explained that football fans may not appreciate BTS performing. One person also revealed that Super Bowl is an American thing. She added that BTS have not yet done a tour across the US. Hence, most of the Americans who will attend the 2018 Super Bowl do not know them and will not appreciate them.
