In recent years, several royal fans and insiders have been following the love story of Britain’s most eligible bachelor, Prince Harry. That’s why it is not surprising to learn that several publications have taken an interest in the prince’s alleged engagement to his American actress girlfriend, Meghan Markle.

For years, the 32-year-old brother of Prince William has become the media’s target when it comes to his love interests and dating status. He was constantly pressured to find the deserving royal bride. But Prince Harry is no stranger to being the subject of relationship woes and rumors, as he was always linked to several women.

Even though Kate Middleton’s brother-in-law once admitted that he’s interested in settling down, he told Parade in a 2015 interview that getting married is not that simple. “You know, at the end of the day, there’s a lot of things to get down before settling down,” the British royal said.

Rumored engagement and marriage plans

Two years after Prince Harry said what previously mentioned about getting married, Prince Charles’ youngest son seemed to have a change of heart and is reportedly ready to take his relationship with Markle to the next level. In fact, Harry’s good friend Kirstie Ennis, who the prince met at a “Walking with the Wounded” charity event in 2012, has hinted that there might be a Royal Wedding soon.

The former U.S. marine and Paralympic hopeful, who nodded when she was asked about Harry’s looming marital union, said that she’s more worried about the “after-party” than the wedding itself. She also “pleaded the fifth” and didn’t reveal any further details. The unintentional engagement or marriage revelation came after several tabloids hinted that Prince Harry would propose to Markle before his 33rd birthday in September.

Meghan hates royal rules and worries over Rita Ora’s Prince Harry obsession

Even though Prince Harry appears to be willing to change his single status, there might be some minor issues that are needed to be addressed. One is Markle’s hesitation of becoming a princess and doing royal duties such as ribbon cutting events. She also doesn’t want to shake hands and kiss babies in public.

Another rumor that recently surfaced is Markle’s concerns over Rita Ora’s obsession with Prince Harry. But Gossip Cop slammed the report for being fake, saying the British songstress is not obsessed with the prince. The publication also dismissed the report claiming that Duchess Camilla of Cornwall warned Markle not to marry Harry.

Harry vs. Mail Online

Meanwhile, Prince Harry reportedly won the privacy case against Mail Online. The complaint, which was due to the website’s publication of the prince and his girlfriend’s long-range photos while they were on vacation on a private beach in Jamaica, was filed to the Independent Press Standards Organization (Ipso).

Based on the verdict, the photos were “taken without consent.” Since Prince Harry “was not carrying out official duties and was engaging in private leisure activities,” his demand for privacy was deemed reasonable. Ipso also said taking photos under “such circumstances is unacceptable unless it can be justified in the public interest.”
