It may be too early to predict what's going to happen in "The Originals" Season 5, but the heartbreaking finale of season 4 will give a handful ideas on how the new plots for the next season will be more likely.

Many sacrifices were made and deaths that they had to survive until the end, but nothing is harder than choosing to be apart forever in order to protect Hope (Summer Fontana).

The sacrifice: What to expect in season 5

To save Hope, Vincent Griffith (Yusuf Gatewood) divides the Hollow into pieces and placed them into the bodies of the Mikaelsons. The family saves the youngest Mikaelson through this ritual, but they are forced to avoid each other for eternity. With this, it is not known yet if Niklaus (Joseph Morgan), Rebekah (Claire Holt), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) will be able to reunite as a family in the future of "The Originals" season 5.

Before the finale was premiered on Friday, June 23, a series of predictions suggested that the Hollow could end up being defeated by sacrificing one important character in the row.

However, a bigger sacrifice was apparently made when the Hollow targeted Hope (Summer Fontana) in the latter.

"The idea was always to put them in a dilemma where they had two impossible choices. One impossible choice is to sacrifice Hope and the other impossible choice is to say goodbye to one another." said show runner Michael Naarducci, as per Yahoo! TV.

Mystic Falls welcomes Hope Mikaelson?

Season 4 has left a bunch of cliffhanger questions among its viewers, which includes the fuzzy talk about the possible characters from "The Vampire Diaries" who might be joining the chaos in "The Originals" future.

Rumor has it that season 5 is going welcome new faces and theories suggest that they would be people from Mystic Falls.

Niklaus and Hayley would definitely do everything to protect their daughter. With this, they would have no other choice but to enroll Hope to the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, ran by Caroline Forbes (Candice King) and Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis).

Despite the whispers and rumors claiming that Caroline's much-awaited appearance will be finally taking place in "The Originals" season 5, everything will remain on a thin line until the actress gives her final statement, respectively.
