"Teen Mom OG" star Catelynn Lowell is speaking out after this week's all new episode. During the episode, Amber Portwood was furious with her fiance Matt Baier after he had given Catelynn prescription medication. Matt claimed he had given Catelynn a Xanax in order to help her with a panic attack that she was having. Amber was so mad about the situation that she called off her wedding to Matt. Now, Catelynn is revealing what really went down.
Catelynn tells her side of the story
According to Radar Online, Catelynn Lowell says that while Matt Baier did give her a Xanax, she didn't take the pill.
The "Teen Mom OG" star says that she "never took" what Matt gave her and that she "saved" it and told Amber. As many fans know, Catelynn has dealt with depression and anxiety issues for years, and may even be on her own medication for the issues. However, Matt took it upon himself to try to "help his friend" when she was feeling anxious. Later, Catelynn apologized to Amber for the trouble it caused and told her co-star that she will always have her back in any situation.
Meanwhile, Amber Portwood and Matt Baier are reportedly no longer together. After calling off their October wedding over the drug issue, Portwood reportedly dumped Baier when he failed a lie detector test about cheating on the "Teen Mom OG" star.
Amber and Matt are said to still be living together, but not engaged in a romantic relationship. However, all of that may change as the two are reportedly headed to another reality television series, "Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars" to try and work on their issues. The pair is said to have been talking with the show's production for a while, and Amber recently revealed she was headed to L.A.
to work for 18 days, seemingly hinting that she would be appearing on the show. In the past, Amber has revealed that she was asked to be on other similar shows regarding her relationship and family therapy but refused due to a variety of issues, such as her plastic surgery makeover.
Amber and Matt are off to 'Marriage Boot Camp'
While many fans think Amber Portwood should dump Matt Baier for good, others are glad that no matter what she has the support of her co-stars Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout. Thankfully, Catelynn took it upon herself to clear up the rumors about getting pills from Matt, as rumors and gossip often spread very quickly online, as the "Teen Mom OG" star has worked hard to get her issues in check over the past few years, which included a rehab stay.
