The "Teen Mom 2" cast is headed back to the small screen with another season filled with drama. Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, and Leah Messer are going to be sharing another look into their lives. While everyone has something going on, three of the four are either getting ready to have babies or announcing their pregnancy. Both Chelsea and Jenelle had their children in January and Kailyn announced her third child was on the way right at the same time. Leah is currently the only "Teen Mom 2" Cast Member not expanding her family.
Jenelle Evans proposal
Things between Jenelle Evans and David Eason have gotten pretty intense with their relationship. The two welcomed a baby girl in January and are currently engaged. The proposal was filmed for "Teen Mom 2" and their wedding planning will likely be part of her story this season. Aside from that, Evans and her mom have been battling for custody of Jace. When last season ended, the two weren't talking and it appears their relationship still remains strained. It was decided that Jace would remain with Barbara with Jenelle having more scheduled and frequent visitation.
A new cast member was added to "Teen Mom 2" this season. Briana DeJesus was chosen to hop on board with the four girls.
She was on "Teen Mom 3" but that show didn't resonate like "Teen Mom OG" or "Teen Mom 2" has with the fans. It was shocking when fans learned about the addition. Rumors swirled and Javi Marroquin had been seen with the DeJesus girls, but no one believed MTV would change up the show dynamic.
Kailyn's shocking pregnancy
When it was announced and confirmed that Kailyn Lowry was expecting her third child, fans went nuts.
They had just watched her marriage to Javi Marroquin break up and now, she was pregnant. Lowry announced it earlier this season on an aftershow, and fans took to social media to slam her for having three different baby daddies for her children. The relationship Kailyn has with the child's father is rocky, though there have been some more attempts made to get things on track.
Chris Lopez is the man she reportedly slept with, though he has yet to publicly address the situation. As the season progresses, fans are hoping to learn more.
