Ever since she has been introduced in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” many fans have wondered who Rey (Daisy Ridley) really is. In fact, there are a number of theories and assumptions surrounding her real identity.

There is a new leak, from an alleged ex-employee of Lucasfilm, on 4Chan suggesting that Rey is about to reveal her new extraordinary abilities. Of course, her much-awaited origin will be also revealed by Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) himself.

Rey’s extraordinary power

"Rey is pretty powerful and does some new stuff,” a source said, per the Daily Express.

She has the ability to change the shape of things and has the power to communicate with the Force. With that, Luke Skywalker revealed that she is a “reincarnation of the first Force user.” Rey is believed to be so accustomed of her emotions that she can do things, but Master Yoda believes it is the wrong way.

Aside from that, the leak also revealed some scenes of Rey in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” In the first scene, there will be a blue light she will be walking on. It is believed to be the Force and has the potential to create another new power.

The second sequence will be with Luke Skywalker. As they are walking together through the Force, she can perfectly sense everything around her without even trying.

Lastly, in the third scene, instead of just controlling her emotions like a real Jedi, she is going to use it, especially her anger, as an outlet to fight Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

Rey’s origin as told by Luke

Moreover, the leak also suggested that Luke Skywalker will reveal how Rey has been brought to her. However, the claim is not clear if it is pertaining to her as a child or as an adult.

"He (Luke) tells her how the Force brought her to him,” the source continued. Allegedly, her parents fear her power and she was born out of necessity. It has been said that the balance will forever continue with the Force, from her father and now to her.

Although Luke Skywalker agreed to train her Jedi abilities, he told her that they are going to stop whenever they have defeated Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis).

They will stop the fight and discontinue the Jedi order.

Meanwhile, these assumptions posted on 4Chan are, at this point, just rumors. The site has many unknown contributors, making it is quite impossible to track if what they are saying is true. Some even doubt the credibility of the alleged former Lucasfilm employee, suggesting these thing could bea lie.
