Christina El Moussa and her new found love, Doug Spedding, were inseparable during their public appearance on Thursday. In fact, the couple have made no effort to avoid the paparazzis as they headed for a dinner date at a Newport Beach diner. The female "Flip or Flop" host looked stunning in floral lace dress matched with a pair of knee-high boots, while her man sported a blue suit with striped undershirt.
A source told Hollywood Life that the two dined at Javier's restaurant where they packed on the Pda. Doug Spedding was even holding her hand while having a fun conversation with the TV personality.
An onlooker said the pair seemed to be enjoying being around each other during the romantic dinner date.
Who's the new guy?
Doug Spedding, 55, is a businessman from Orange County who dated Christina El Moussa before Tarek came to her life. A previous report of ET claimed the female host has already introduced the new guy to her two children, Taylor (6) and Brayden (1), which allegedly did not please her estranged husband. Similarly, it was said that the male "Flip or Flop" host has been "acting out" since he found out about his ex-wife's relationship with the tycoon.
"Tarek has always had a sense of jealousy over her prior relationship with this person," an insider said, claiming that the father-of-two has been hanging out with young women after Christina told him that she is seeing someone new.
ET's report added that the male El Moussa could not accept the fact the his estranged wife is moving on with her life.
But contrary to these claims, Tarek has told E! News that he is enjoying his single life, admitting that he has been meeting other women, going on dates, and all other things a single guy usually does. He added that he is "ready to date and be happy" after his split with Christina last year.
Inside Tarek and Christina's failed romance
The two first met as real estate agents in late 2000s. They officially became Mr. and Mrs. El Moussas in 2009, and just like any other couples, their relationship was faced with a series of challenges, including Christina's struggle to conceive a child and Tarek's diagnoses of thyroid cancer and testicular cancer in 2013.
But despite all odds, the couple remained unshakable and stayed together until last year when Tarek allegedly tried to hurt himself during a fight with Christina. PEOPLE stated the argument even involved the authorities after the male host reportedly pulled out his gun and ran amok outside their house.
