After the first teaser of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” was revealed in April, fans are now clamoring to see more. A new leak of the movie’s new trailer is circulating on 4chan, hinting at the appearance of Master Yoda’s Force ghost.
The known “Star Wars” theorist Mike Zeroh carefully analyzed the leakage on his YouTube channel. However, as the imageboard website is used by a lot of anonymous people, fans should only take the leak with a grain of salt.
Alleged scenes in the leaked trailer
According to Mike Zeroh, fans will get the first dibs at the "porgs" that will be seen flying on Ahch-To in the leaked trailer of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) is seen wearing the black cloak that fans saw him donning at Star Wars Celebration 2017.
There is also a shot where Rey (Daisy Ridley) is “igniting” his master’s lightsaber. Finn (John Boyega) is even seen using his blaster in a passage on what looks like Canto Bight.
Aside from that, the theorist also sees the glimpse of Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) swinging her spear in a rapid movement. In another distance shot, Rey is once again seen climbing the stone steps at a steady pace.
To top it all, the most intriguing scene is the meeting of Master Yoda’s Force ghost and Rey in the Force tree. “And lastly we slightly hear Yoda’s voice,” Mike Zeroh said on his video. He described it as quite similar to the first trailer, only it is fainter this time.
It has been long-rumored that the Master Jedi will appear in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” Hence, a lot of the movie franchise’s fans are hoping to see his appearance just like in “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.”
New teaser allegedly confirmed by British Board of Film Classification
The leak arrived in a timely fashion as the British Board of Film Classification confirmed that a new full-length trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" has just been classified.
The classification was shared by a Reddit user named Nonsuch42. Allegedly, the movie’s new teaser was graded “B” and already checked. The trailer is going to run for one minute and 31 seconds and will be distributed by WDSMP UK. It is also “passed uncut” and can be viewed in both 2D and 3D.
It is not yet known when the latest “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” teaser will be officially revealed, although fans are hoping to catch a glimpse of it in the coming Disney’s D23 on July 14 to 16. Possibly, “Star Wars” will have a major appearance at the event, and fans can exclusively get the first dibs to the movie’s trailer.
