Sources told that the character struggles with choosing Good And Evil as he sees his best friend Jughead joining a gang while his father Fred was gunned down on Milkshakes.

Paste Magazine told that the final moments of “Riverdale” Season 1 would greatly affect the situation in the second installment. As Robert Aguirre-Saca explained, Batman would be seen in the life of Fred as they were both present when their parents were killed. Sources told that the latter would change as his purpose in life was revealed. As the showrunner stated:

“What happened to Fred is like Bruce Wayne seeing his parents gunned down in Crime Alley in Gotham City. It completely changes him, and it galvanizes him and gives him purpose.”

Moreover, Aguirre-Saca did not give clear hints with regards to the current condition of Luke.

The showrunner urged fans to watch out the second installment’s premiere as it would clear all questions from the past.

Other than that, it was reiterated that good and evil would be evident in the show. As it was told, there would be a clear division between the safe place of Riverdale and South Side, where crimes and murders happen. With that, it is speculated that “Riverdale” Season 2 would be more thrilling and bloody than the usual.

Archie and Jughead’s brotherhood

Meanwhile, it is not yet confirmed whether Fred would be shown in the first episode of “Riverdale” Season 2. However, it was confirmed that Archie and Jughead’s friendship would be put in danger as they shared opposing values in Riverdale.
