At the beginning of every month, Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services add a new batch of television shows and movies to their libraries.

This month, the streaming giant has brought forward a couple of new films for children. Dreamworks’ “Troll” and Disney’s “Moana” are coming to Netflix in June 2017. At least, fifty movies are set to stream on the service; but the most prominent movies are “An American Tail,” “Ernest & Celestine,” and “Finding Dory.”

‘An American Tail’

Released in 1986, “An American Tail” is set to stream on Netflix in coming days.

This adventure film was directed by Don Bluth and co-produced by Amblin Entertainment. It is a story of Fievel Mousekewitz and his family who emigrated from Russia to the US. However, Fievel gets lost and does not find a way to reunite with his family and friends. The film received positive comments from critics and audiences.

It featured Phillip Glasser, Amy Green, John P. Finnegan, Nehemiah Persoff, Erica Yohn, Pat Musick, Dom DeLuise, Christopher Plummer, Cathianne Blore, Neil Ross, and Madeline Kahn.

MCA Records released a list of official soundtracks in November 1986 and made it available on audio cassettes, vinyl records, and CDs. In February 2013, the album was digitally released by Geffen Records, and consisted of "Main Title," "The Cossack Cats," "The Storm," "Never Say Never," and "The Market Place" like singles.

‘Ernest & Celestine’

Released in 2012, “Ernest & Celestine” is a famous French movie directed by Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar. It was based on a children book of the same name by Gabrielle Vincent. This film has been released on Netflix and is available for viewers. In 2012, it was screened for a prize at the Cannes Film Festival.

“Ernest & Celestine” featured the voices of Forest Whitaker, Paul Giamatti, Lauren Bacall, Mackenzie Foy, William H. Macy, Jeffrey Wright, Megan Mullally, and Nick Offerman. The movie received widespread critical acclaim and is one of the highest-grossing animated movies of all time. The story revolves around a young girl, Celestine, who lives in an underground world with a couple of friends.

This movie received two Magritte Awards and dozens of nominations.

‘Finding Dory’

Released in 2016, “Finding Dory” is a famous animated movie produced by Pixar Animation Studios. Walt Disney Pictures distributed the film worldwide in summer 2016. It was directed by Andrew Stanton and scripted by Victoria Strouse. “Finding Dory” featured voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Hayden Romance, Ed O'Neill, Ty Burrell, Kaitlin Olson, Eugene Levy, and Diane Keaton.

The world premiere took place Los Angeles on June 8, 2016, and the film was theoretically released on June 17, 2016. It received positive comments from critics and audiences and successfully grossed over $1.1 billion at the global box office.
