Rihanna was shocked to learn that Chris Brown had been issued with a restraining order to keep his distance from Karrueche Tran for at least five years.
Tran, who previously dated Brown up until finding out he had a love child in 2014, had made several attempts to get a restraining order on Chris, having claimed she has feared for her life on multiple occasions, alleging that her ex-boyfriend had threatened to end her life.
In her court papers, as revealed by People, Karruche points out how her relationship with the R&B singer was filled with abuse and arguments.
Once she left, things were tremendously bad because Chris allegedly wouldn’t stop making threats against her.

Following a hefty amount of evidence being shown in court regarding physical violence during Karrueche’s relationship with Brown, the judge ordered Chris to steer clear of Tran for five years, and according to Hollywood Life, Rihanna is stunned.
Having thought that her ex-boyfriend had made a tremendous improvement keeping himself out of trouble, Rihanna is alleged to have been surprised with the details of the Restraining Order case. Sources say she can’t believe Chris is still behaving this way.
If anything, one insider explains how Rihanna allegedly feels as if Chris has let her down.
While they are no longer a couple, Brown and Rih-Rih still consider each other friends, but hearing about the abuse claims and being issued another restraining order is unsettling for the “Diamonds” songstress.
“She feels Chris let down her down all over again when she heard the news about his 5-year restraining order,” the outlet quotes its insider saying.
“Rihanna is heartbroken that Chris is still struggling with his demons.”

It’s particularly frustrating for Rihanna, for she had planned to one day reconcile with the singer, it’s further alleged, but due to Chris’ wild outbursts and short temper, it doesn’t seem as if the twosome will never be anything more than friends from a distance.
While the “Wild Thoughts” hitmaker doesn’t have the closest relationship with her ex-boyfriend, it’s been said that the duo still speaks to one another every now and then.
Though she’s most likely not going to reach out to him over the restraining order ordeal, Rihanna is hopeful that his latest court case will make the “Party” star realize that he desperately needs to get his act together.
As for Karrueche Tran, she is said to be over the moon to finally know she has a peace of mind when she leaves her home without worrying whether she could potentially be approached by her ex-boyfriend.
