The latest season of the hit reality show competition "Big Brother" will begin airing next week. The show will have a 2-hour season premiere on CBS on Wednesday, June 28 at 8/7c.

16 new houseguests

This summer, there will be 16 cast members spending some of their time in the "Big Brother" house. Each week, the cast, or houseguests, will compete in various competitions. The person who makes it the longest will be crowned the "Big Brother" champion and take home the grand prize of $500,000.

CBS recently released bios of the new "Big Brother 19" cast.

Out of the 16 houseguests, there are eight men and eight women. Here is who fans of the show will see in the house this summer:

Christmas Abbott: This fitness expert living in Raleigh, NC believes that lack of privacy will be the most difficult part for her while living in the "Big Brother" house. The 33-year-old was the first female NASCAR Sprint Cup crew member and is a best-selling author who just released her second book.

Matthew Clines: 33-year-old Clines describes himself as silly, competitive and fun. He is a renovation consultant from Arlington, VA who likes eating, sleeping and lifting weights in his spare time.

Dominique Cooper: Cooper works as a government engineer in Woodbridge, VA.

She is 33-years-old and her life motto is "pursue purpose (dreams) at all cost!"

Elena Davies: A 26-year-old radio personality living in Dallas, TX, Davies loves Instagram and listening to music. Her favorite past "Big Brother" cast member is James Huling from seasons 17 and 18.

Jason Dent: Dent is a 37-year-old rodeo clown. He said if he could take three things with him into the "Big Brother" house, it would be his bull named Ole, a radio and a trampoline.

Jessica Graf: 26-year-old Graf lives in Los Angeles, CA and is a VIP concierge. She describes herself as honest, loud and loyal, and her life motto is "do it with passion, or not at all."

Cameron Heard: A microbiologist at the young age of 24, when he's not working, Heard enjoys riding his bike, solving Rubik's Cubes, and scuba diving.

He believes the most difficult part about living in the "Big Brother" house will be not having any communication with the outside world.

Mark Jansen: Jansen is a personal trainer whose life motto is "fear none, regret less." The 26-year-old describes himself as fun, strong and thoughtful.

Megan Lowder: A 28-year-old dog walker living in Phoenix, AZ, Lowder enjoys playing video games and reading the "Harry Potter" series. She said her favorite past "Big Brother" player is Frank Eudy from seasons 14, 16 and 18.

Josh Martinez: A self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, Martinez likes meeting new people and having new experiences. The 23-year-old was born in Miami, FL and currently calls Homestead, FL his home.

Cody Nickson: This 32-year-old loves surfing and said his favorite past "Big Brother" contestant is Dick Donato from season 8. Nickson describes himself as confident, charming and sweet.

Alex Ow: Ow is 28-years-old and loves knitting, crocheting, baking and hanging out with her family. She is an eco-friendly marketing rep living in Camarillo, CA.

Jillian Parker: This 24-year-old living in Las Vegas describes herself as bubbly, funny and truthful. Parker is a timeshare sales rep who enjoys going to the casino and rock climbing in her spare time.

Kevin Schlehuber: The oldest houseguest at 55, Schlehuber is a stay-at-home dad from Boston, MA. In 1986, the father of seven was named Mr. Massachusetts.

Ramses Soto: This 21-year-old from Grand Rapids, MI recently came out as gay to his older brother. Soto says his strategy in the "Big Brother" house will be to focus on his social game.

Raven Walton: Walton is a 23-year-old dance teacher from Arizona. When she's not working, she likes taking road trips with her friends and shopping. Walton also enjoys reading and fashion.

BB19 extras

CBS will air "Big Brother 19" three times each week, on every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Julie Chen will return as host and there will likely be many surprises awaiting the houseguests and viewers this summer. For those who can't get enough of the show, there will also be "Big Brother After Dark" and a live feed that fans can subscribe to.
