Meghan Markle's TV boyfriend on "Suits" has spoken up for the first time about his co-star's real-life romance with Prince Harry. Patrick J. Adams said he's very happy for his TV girlfriend's love life, but it appears he has yet to meet the prince.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Patrick J. Adams -- who plays Mike Ross on "Suits," the boyfriend to Meghan Markle's Rachel Zane -- said he sees his co-star is clearly happy with her relationship with Prince Harry. As her friend for many years, the actor only wishes nothing but the best.

"I'm super happy for her, and she's been such a pro in this season, and it's going so well," Adams said, adding Markle is “so deserving” of the good things happening in her life lately.

The actor also said that as far as work is concerned, nothing much has changed on the set. Meghan Markle, as always, comes prepared and excited for work. Patrick J. Adams said it’s still normal with her around.

Prince Harry set visit

Patrick J. Adams, however, has been waiting to meet Meghan Markle's real-life prince. Apparently, the royal has yet to visit the set of "Suits, " but the actor understands why this has not happened yet.

"The set is like a workplace," the actor said. "Who would want to come to a workplace?" But given a chance, Patrick J. Adams would hope to convince Prince Harry to appear on the show.

Royal family member on 'Suits'

One royal family member, however, who openly expressed he wants to be on "Suits" is Prince Harry's cousin-in-law.

Mike Tindall, the husband of Prince Harry's cousin Zara Phillips, told The Sun he would most likely talk to Meghan Markle about appearing on her show.

Mike Tindall said he's a big fan of "Suits" and would be happy to play a "door bouncer or something" just to have a feel of all that TV action. The former rugby player has had TV appearances before on British reality TV shows.

He and his wife have been asked quite a number of times to compete in the show "Strictly Dancing."

'Suits' season 7 premiere

Meanwhile, "Suits" will return for season 7 on the USA Network on Wednesday, July 12. It's a special season for the show's cast and crew as they will achieve a new milestone with its upcoming 100th episode and Adams will be directing it.

To celebrate, the cast of "Suits" did a live table read at the ATX Television Festival in Austin last June 11. Aside from Adams and Markle, in attendance at the said event were stars Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter), Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt), Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson) and Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulsen). "Timeless" star Abigail Spencer was also on the panel as she has a recurring role in the show. Show creator Aaron Korsh sat as moderator for the event.
