Janet Jackson revealed her happiness being a first-time mother. To recall, she gave birth to her first and only son Eissa back in January. Since then, the "Together Again" singer chose to be out from the spotlight to spent time with her son. Meanwhile, she also confirmed her split with former husband, Wissam Al Mana, on May.
Despite the rough changes that she has been going through, Jackson shared that being a mother to her cutest baby made her happy. The 51-year old singer is focusing her time most on her son and has chosen to leave her career aside for a while.
Enjoying motherhood
Jimmy Jam, Jackson's long-time friend and producer, opened up to Entertainment Tonight that the singer usually calls him via FaceTime. Right now, the singer and dancer is currently away from the spotlight and is still residing in London. Despite being away from each other, Jam further shared that they have kept their communication through text messages and calls.
To recall, Jam and Jackson duo started back in 1980. Jam has been working with the singer since she launched her album "Control" which include various hits like "When I Think of You," and "Again." Meanwhile, Jam also shared that after her hiatus from the music industry, Jackson is also believed to be excited to perform once more and to record a new music.
Jackson to bring her son on tour
A report from Entertainment Tonight shared that the 51-year old singer is very excited about bringing her child to work. She further shared on her previous interviews that she would love to bring Eissa while having a tour. Amid her split with estranged husband, Jackson sees to it that she can have all the time for her son.
Right now, Jackson is currently in a court battle over the termination of her marriage. However, she doesn't consider carrying her son a problem when she returns to work. She was also happy to share that she already lost 50 pounds of baby weight since giving birth on January 17.
While everyone is excited to see her back rocking on stage, Jackson is also expected to come out sexier and unrestricted soon.
Right now, the singer is believed to be under a strict diet plan as she wants to look her best for her fans when she returns. Meanwhile, Jam also believed that Jackson will come back with a whole new source of inspiration considering that she now has Eissa in her life. The singer also agreed that she will definitely come back with a new source of creativity and love. Hence, fans are looking forward of Jackson's return very soon.
