“Game of Thrones” Season 7 may find Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) turning to the dark side after Jon Snow (Kit Harington) failed to thank her for saving him in the “Battle of the Bastards.”
In a recent interview with Yahoo! Lifestyle Singapore, the 21-year-old English actress said Sansa Stark has changed from being a vulnerable and naïve young woman to being a leader, powerful and hungry for vengeance from the people who have done her family wrong. She said her character and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) have one thing in common – they are both family-orientated and will do anything for their family.
Turner then vaguely teased that another rivalry could unravel House Stark again. She said Sansa Stark is frustrated by the way that Jon Snow gets hailed as King of the North and he does not say a thing about her saving his life during the “Battle of the Bastards.”
At the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, Turner also said Sansa Stark does not think Jon Snow is capable of running Winterfell and the North. Though the latter has wonderful morals – those Stark morals – that inevitably he will make the best decision, but whether it is going to benefit anyone is another story.
“Game of Thrones” Season 7 is set to premiere on July 16.
Is Kit Harington ready to settle down with Rose Leslie?
Meanwhile, Harington and girlfriend Rose Leslie are taking their relationship to the next level.
The couple, who has been in an on-and-off relationship since 2012, is now planning to move in together.
In a recent sit-down interview with Esquire, the 30-year-old English actor revealed he and Leslie have decided to move in together. They are currently visiting various cities in the United States and the United Kingdom to find a new apartment and are coordinating with real estate agents in Manhattan Besides that, Harington wants to keep details of his relationship with Leslie private.
Harington and Leslie were first romantically linked in 2012 after playing love interests, Jon Snow and Ygritte, on HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” After months of fan speculation, they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2016 Laurence Olivier Awards.
That being said, many fans believed an engagement could be imminent. Though they had not really talked about it yet, Leslie and Harington know they are heading there. If the rumors are to be believed, the couple might exchange wedding vows once the latter wraps up filming HBO’s “Game of Thrones.”
