What's returning and what's not?

julie chen and executive producers Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan teased viewers about what to expect for the new season. They gave some insights about the old and familiar things that will return and some things that will not. However, there will be so many new things that viewers probably won't miss the old things that are not returning.

The "No napping rule" from "Big Brother: Over the Top" will return, but the roadkill competition won't be back.

Meehan said that even though there will be some things that have been shown before on previous shows, there will also be some totally unique and random things that have never been seen before.

Secret confessions

Julie Chen confessed that she doesn't like to go into the Big Brother house on finale night because there's a certain smell.

After three months the air is stale, heavy, and thick like nothing she has ever smelled.

Allison Grodner confessed that it's possible that a competition could be set up and ready to go in the backyard, but the houseguests don't get to play it because of a decision they made. Therefore, the art department would have prepared in vain.

Rich Meehan confessed that the houseguests complain a lot. In the beginning, they act like they understand the rules. Toward the end of the series, most of them have to be called to the diary room many times for not following the rules they agreed to follow.
