Last month, Comedy fans were treated to a 10-second teaser of Andy Samberg's "Tour De Pharmacy," an upcoming mockumentary much like 2015's "7 Days in Hell," which focused on another sport: tennis. This year, viewers will get to see another TV film in the same vein, this time with cycling.

In last month's 10-second trailer, viewers got a glimpse of Samberg, along with Mike Tyson, Maya Rudolph, John Cena, James Marsden, and Lance Armstrong. Now, the first ever trailer for the HBO movie has arrived, and it features a closer look at the star-studded cast of the sports mockumentary.

The trailer is definitely dope

In the upcoming HBO film "Tour De Pharmacy," Andy Samberg, together with "7 Days in Hell" writer Murray Miller, will shed light on the controversy of athletes using steroids to amp up their game. Set in 1982, the trailer has a very retro look to it, with the unclear picture in the pre-widescreen era. "Nearly every rider was on drugs," Maya Rudolph's character says perfectly.

The film features a slew of comedic talents, including Will Forte, and Danny Glover. "Jurassic Park" star Jeff Goldblum also makes an appearance, together with Kevin Bacon and James Marsden. It also features "Hamilton" musical actor Daveed Diggs, Phylicia Rashad, Dolph Lundgren, and Julia Ormond among others.

Andy Samberg is the master of mockumentaries

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star Andy Samberg got his start as a "Saturday Night Live" actor and writer, who was responsible for the greats, "Dick in a Box," "Lazy Sunday," "Motherlover," and "I'm on a Boat." He's a frequent collaborator of Adam Levine and Justin Timberlake, with whom he shares several comedic tracks.

Samberg is one of the three founders of the comedy group called The Lonely Island, with whom he's recorded four records, namely "Incredibad" in 2009, "Turtleneck & Chain" in 2011, "The Wack Album" in 2013, and "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping," which is the soundtrack to the film of the same name, released in 2016.

Like "Tour De Pharmacy" and "7 Days in Hell," "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" was also a mockumentary, this time as a dig towards today's pop stars like Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus.

The film didn't do so well at the box office but was a hit amongst comedy fans.

'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' as Andy Samberg's full-time job

Over at primetime television, Andy Samberg plays Detective Jake Peralta in the FOX comedy, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." The series is created by "Parks and Recreation" producers and writers Dan Goor and Michael Schur and was recently renewed for a fifth season right before the season 4 finale aired.

Samberg will return to "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" in the fall and for now, will be seen in "Tour De Pharmacy," which debuts on HBO on July 8 at 10 p.m. EST.
