The last we heard of Lorde’s music was back in 2015 when her vocals were featured on Disclosure’s hit song "Magnets." But for someone who has been out of the public eye for a while, she has come back in a big way. One of this year’s most anticipated albums for critics and fans alike is Lorde’s "Melodrama." So far, she has been promoting it with a few of her songs, with "Green Light" becoming the first single and a pop anthem for this summer.

The New Zealand singer will debut her sophomore record on June 16th of this year and already she has announced the first leg of her tour.

Melodrama's first tour dates

Lorde surprised fans by announcing the first dates of her upcoming concerts over Twitter on June 8th. The announcement came just days before her new album drops.
