Sequel details

Officially, paramount's new CEO Jim Gianopulos has not yet given his nod for the project. However, several sources have disclosed to the publication that announcement about "World War Z 2" would most likely happen in the coming weeks.

However, it was reported that the director dropped the movie to focus on directing the sequel of "Jurrasic Park."
