Tinsley Mortimer may be new to the “The real housewives of new york”, but she's already making waves after just being featured on a couple of episodes. During last week’s episode, she went on a date with a much younger man and people loved seeing this refreshing new lady tackle the world of dating. And everyone was a bit shocked when the man she was dating revealed that he was only 23 years old. This is compared to Tinsley who is in her 40s. However, Tinsley didn't hold back and it was refreshing to see someone as honest and as fun-loving have a great time during her night of bowling with the young man.
As previously revealed, Tinsley Mortimer was married and then got divorced. She started dating, and one of her relationships resulted in her getting arrested when she accidentally violated a trespassing order that was put against her. She had no idea that she wasn't allowed to go on her ex-boyfriend's property at the time and police cuffed her and took a mugshot. She's trying to move on from this arrest, and it sounds like exploring a carefree dating life is just the way to do it.
Tinsley Mortimer admits to using Chad for fun
In her blog for "The Real Housewives of New York," Tinsley opens up about what it's like to date a much younger man and what she really thought when she learned that Chad was only 23 years old.
Mortimer reveals that she knows that Chad is way too young for her and she knows that he's not the man who she's going to marry one day, but she points out that she just wanted to have fun with a cute and young man. And as she points out in her blog, it wasn't so serious. Tinsley also points out that everything is less awkward and complicated when it's someone who you know you're not going to invest a whole lot of time in.
Needless to say, her co-stars were a bit shocked when they learned she was dating a much younger man, but Sonja Morgan is no stranger to dating young men and making headlines in the press with her bad behavior.
Is Tinsley Mortimer feuding with Sonja Morgan?
It seems like there's some tension between Tinsley and Sonja Morgan on this season of “The Real Housewives of New York." Tinsley moved in with Sonja during the first episode of the season, because she was coming back to New York after her arrest.
Sonja opened her doors to her friend, but things quickly turned sour when Tinsley started going out with some of her friends, including her “Real Housewives of New York” co-stars.
However, Sonja shouldn't be so skeptical of Mortimer’s dating life as she herself has a history of dating much younger men for the sake of just having sex. In other words, rather than judge, Sonja should actually be encouraging Tinsley's behavior, as she should be having fun after a marriage and a divorce.
It'll be interesting to see if Tinsley Mortimer finds love on “The Real Housewives of New York." So far she's just having a blast meeting and dating young men and Chad was definitely a joy to see on the show. However, it would be nice to see Mortimer find love with a man her own age or someone who fulfills her.
