It can be recalled that the guy is willing to spend any amount just to win her back. However, the ex-wife is fighting off whatever feelings she has left for her ex-lover as she cannot forget his betrayal.

There is a possibility that she might give in soon, but if she discovers her ex-husband's evil acts, it looks like Victor will go back to square one. His latest horrible act would really send his ex-wife on the edge and might trigger her to fully let go of her feelings for him.
