There are few more months to wait before "Stranger Things" season 2 arrives on Netflix, but already the sophomore season promises more strange events surrounding the Hawkins community. But before we delve into more details about the upcoming season, the show's breakout star, Millie Bobby Brown recently sat down with Evan Rachel Wood from "Westworld" to talk about her best audition, which was for one of this year's highly acclaimed films: "Logan." Of course, the 13-year old actress did not get the part, but Dafne Keen's performance as X-23 did turn heads and earned much praise from critics and moviegoers.

Millie Bobby Brown auditioned for X-23 in 'Logan'

Millie Bobby Brown was arguably one of last year's biggest breakout stars, and the 13-year old actress seems to be selecting only the best roles to build up her career. The English actress, who will return to reprise her role as Eleven in "Stranger Things" season 2, recently admitted that she once auditioned for the role of Laura or X-23 for the James Mangold-directed "Logan," which is also Hugh Jackman's last outing as the clawed Wolverine.

Brown told Wood during her interview, "It meant so much to me...Honestly, for me, I felt like an actor. In that audition room hitting Hugh Jackman, and James Mangold sitting right in front of me.

It was one of the best auditions." While Dafne Keen was eventually awarded with the role, Brown had nothing but praises for the actress, whose performance wowed audiences and critics alike.

Sophomore season of 'Stranger Things' set to be 'better and darker'

Millie Bobby Brown isn't the only one who's returning to reprise her role in "Stranger Things" season 2. Caleb McLaughlin, who played Lucas Sinclair in the series, will also return to reprise his role as one of Will's (Noah Schnapp) friends, together with Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson and Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler. McLaughlin recently spoke to the Huffington Post about how the sophomore season differs from its predecessor, as it's "darker" and delves more into the characters this time around.

He admitted that the upcoming season will also give viewers a chance to get a closer look at Lucas, who heroically played a hand in helping defeat the Demogorgon last season.

"Stranger Things" season 2 is set to return to Netflix on October 31, and will bring back Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, and Charlie Heaton among its other stars.
