"Rick and Morty" Season 3 has still not yet returned on television. Adult Swim still has no updates as to when season 3 will formally air, which is why fans are worried that the making will need more time before it will be released.
There is no doubt that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 1 amazed the show's fans when they released its first segment on the day of April Fools'. Such extraordinary episode left the fans waiting, wanting and excited about the line up of the new scenes. However, the first episode has not been followed by episode 2, which is why the viewers are concerned about the further delay in the show's release date.
Full season 3 release date delayed
Adult Swim and the showrunners of the animated show, Dan Harmon and Justin Theroux broadcast the all new of the highly anticipated show, "Rick and Morty" season 3 without any announcement that they have streamed the first episode on the site of Adult Swim for a short span of time. The fans were even worried that it might just be a joke, because it was released on the day of April Fool's.
Harmon even asked his followers on social media if they would like to see the all new season as soon as possible. One of his followers quickly replied to his query and stated that it has always been what the fans want. Harmon immediately shared the link of the first episode on his Twitter account, which reportedly drove the fans crazy.
Mangum Star News revealed that the link for the episode 1 of the animated series is still available for streaming. However, it is only available for the fans in the US. The seasons 1 and 2 of the animated series from Adult Swim can be streamed on Netflix. As per the publication, the show will be released on June 27, 2017. Yet, this is still to be confirmed by the producers.
Episode titles inspired by films
In the meantime, Inverse claimed that the episode titles of the upcoming season is based on famous films in the past including "Indiana Jones." The episode called, "Romancing the Stone" reportedly derives from the hit movie, which features Kathleen Turner and her life as an explorer. In this episode, Rick will be turning into a hopeless romantic characters as he proposes his love for a girl.
As of this writing, the release date for a full "Rick and Morty" season 3 is yet to be confirmed. Dan Harmon, Justin Roiland and Adult Swim are still mum as to when they plan to release the third season. Thus, readers are advised to take this with a grain of salt.
