"Once Upon a Time's" charming episode might have given Hook and Emma their nice beginning but it is the Final Battle confrontation with the Black Fairy that seems to have the highest influence on the TV series moving forward. Will all make it out lively? "Once Upon A Time" bosses are dropping major spoilers about the season finale. With Jennifer Morrison established to exit, what will occur to Emma in the end?
Last episode plot and synopsis
The last episode reveals that a new curse is about to meet Emma and the entire Storybrooke, which suggests that the heroes will be facing another major fight in the show's imminent season finale.
Here is the synopsis published in TV Guide: “Henry calls to a cursed Storybrooke and finds Emma has been in the mental hospital, and the Black Fairy is the new administrator. Henry tries to help Emma recover her memory while Gold tries to find out what has really occurred to Belle. In the meantime, Regina, Charming, Snow, Zelena, and Hook are caught in a collapsing Fairy Tale Land and hopelessly try to figure out a way to be joined with Henry and Emma.” Even though Emma and Hook got to say their promises and officially get married, the Final Battle with the Black Fairy is the real test they will have to go through.
Next episode spoilers and interview
Now that "Once Upon a Time" has ended its musical weddings show, it is time for what Josh Dallas calls “a confrontation of epic proportions.” The Black Fairy’s (J.
Murray) ban hit Storybrooke just as Hook (C. O’Donoghue) and Emma (J. Morrison) completed their promises and enjoyed a brief time of celebration. Now, it is improbable to say to where they have been moved and what will happen, but one thing is for certain: it is time for that Final Battle to start.
In a conversation with EW, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis tease about the part that Rumple will perform in the imminent battle.
"I will announce the Final Battle will be thematic for that Rumple and everybody, as a person who is a tough man to like, I think he will produce a very hard choice to make again," Kitsis states. The TV series directors also reveal that the future curse will not be identical as all the others that they have taken in the past.
"We are well notified that we have done a curse infrequently in the events on the show, but this season we are trying to do a short spin on it," Horowitz announces. Season 6 finale of "Once Upon a Time" will air on ABC on Sunday, May 14, at 8.00 pm EST.
