HBO has dropped the new "Game of Thrones" season 7 trailer and every character are doomed.The fans are really excited about what to expect now that they have seen the preview.
The Lannisters and their debts
The new trailer opens with Cersei, the regent who has named herself the Queen of Westeros and the Seven Kingdom, talking about the all the possible directions where her enemies will come from to challenge her claim to the throne. The lioness shows no sign of discomfort in her stead.
She is shown confiding to Jaime, her hand, brother and beau.
"Whatever stands in our way, we will defeat it," she said. This is followed by a massive fleet of Lannisters' army marching towards the King's Landing to protect her realm. She quipped, "We are the last Lannisters."
Daenerys' game of thrones
Following that scene, Tyrion appears in a cliff where the three dragons were shown navigate their new found land. It then showcased Daenerys' entry to Dragonstone as she declared, "I was born to lead the Seven Kingdoms and I will!"
Her dragon fleet is shown clashing against House Lannister's army by land while the remainder of her crew is engaged in a fiery sea battle with Euron Greyjoy's armada.
The North is in chaos
Up in the North, Jon Snow's rise to power is unstable.
Under the threat of Night Walkers' inevitable invasion and Little Finger's schemes, The King of the North is shown weighing his options to unite the Seven Kingdom and fight together against the Walkers which were apparently no show in the said trailer.
However, in the middle of the trailer, Jon is caught confronting Little Finger.
Prior to this scene, the latter is shown trying to manipulate Lady Sansa. This incident could mark another death in the series which most probably happen in Winterfell.
Arya's journey
Arya is shown braving the heavy snow storm. Her character has become more mysterious in the last season and her revenge game is likely the most successful run in the series.
However, what lies ahead of this young Stark remains unknown.
Conversely, some "Game of Thrones" reports suggest that she might have a reunion with her dire wolf Nymeria. While some say, Lady Stonehearth might come out to rescue her daughter.
Winter has come
The new "Game of Thrones" trailer also shapes up the whole storyline of season 7. The Mother of Dragons has a brief meeting with Ser Davos Seaworth. She was reminded by the hand of the king in the north that if they would not put aside their enmities, together they will die, and then it does not matter anymore on whose skeleton will sit on the Iron Throne because The Great War is here.
Game of Thrones Season 7 opens on July 16 on HBO.
