Season 9 of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" definitely ended on a sour note for Phaedra Parks. The "rhoa" star is reportedly not welcome back for the upcoming season and on top of that, she seems to lose every friend she had on the show. To make matters even worse for Phaedra, Kandi Burruss' mom is trying to make sure Phaedra is punished severely for the drug and rape lie that she told Porsha Williams that she heard from Kandi herself.
Should Phaedra be disbarred for the Kandi Burruss lie?
Several people connected to "Real Housewives of Atlanta" have commented on just how shady they think Phaedra Parks is.
Even Sheree Whitfield said recently that she doesn't know if anyone from the Bravo hit will be willing to forgive Phaedra, which would make it hard for any of them to film with her in the future.
A man who isn't even related to "RHOA" except as a viewer did submit a request for the Georgia Bar Association to investigate the Season 9 shocker in an effort to have the lawyer disbarred for her misdeeds.
Now, Mama Joyce is doubling down on the effort to disbar Phaedra, claiming that she wants to see the reality star pay heavily for the lies she helped spread during the last season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta."
Will Phaedra be forced to compensate Kandi after the big "RHOA" shocker?
On top of wanting Phaedra Parks disbarred, Mama Joyce believes that Phaedra needs to pay up.
She feels like Kandi Burruss should be compensated financially for having to endure nearly a full season of accusations that she and Todd Tucker intended to drug and rape Porsha Williams.
It was during the last part of the Season 9 "RHOA" reunion that Porsha outed Phaedra, telling everyone that Phaedra told her on two separate occasions that she heard the rape claims from Kandi herself.
While on the reunion show panel, Phaedra Parks admitted that she heard the rumor from someone else and was just passing it along. Porsha would have appreciated if her friend had told her that part, rather than claiming to have got the information straight from the source.
Mama Joyce told Radar Online that Kandi should sue Phaedra for putting her through that whole mess.
She also said that Phaedra's lie did a lot of damage to Kandi's reputation during Season 9 of "RHOA" and caused her quite a bit of stress. At one time, there was even a hashtag trending on social media that likened Kandi Burruss to Bill Cosby and it wasn't flattering at all.
For all of her misdeeds during Season 9 of "Real Housewives of Atlanta," Mama Joyce thinks that Phaedra Parks really should lose her license to practice law. After all, they do have to take an oath and Phaedra may have broken that oath when she lied about Kandi to Porsha and possibly also even when she tried to help represent Johnnie Winston when he was looking to sue Kandi. It's quite clear that Phaedra had a vendetta against Kandi and she got revenge on her "RHOA" co-star by spreading rumors and trying to get other people to sue her former friend.
