Josh Duggar was not only famous for being a star in "19 Kids and Counting." For a while now, the actor has been making headlines about the accusations that he molested his four sisters and a friend. However, despite these issues, the actor is reportedly making a comeback on the television. According to reports, he will be a part of the next season of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" where he will talk about his wife’s pregnancy.

Comeback from hiatus

A man has to work to feed himself and his family. This must of one of the reasons why Josh Duggar is making headlines again about being a part of the spinoff. The latest reports suggest that the star will soon be a part of the upcoming season of the TV show "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." Allegedly, he will talk about the happiness he felt upon learning that Anna, his wife, is pregnant with their fifth child.

However, his being part of the show according to some reports is a desperate move from the network to pull the "Jill & Jessa: Counting On's" waning ratings. An insider from TLC has revealed to InTouch that Jim Bob worked his way in convincing the network to get his son in one of their shows.

His move is not only trying to save her daughter's show but also to refresh his son's controversial career. Moreover, the family patriarch allegedly spent more than a month convincing the network of his brilliant plan.

Cases filed

His sisters, Jill, Jinger, Jessa and Joy, who accused him of child molestation, filed a case against Springdale City, the police, and InTouch Weekly. The news agency reportedly released investigative reports that elaborated the admission of Josh to the crime of molesting his sisters. In the documents dated 2015, it was stated that four of his sisters spoke about the molestation to investigators in 2006. During that time, the molested women are all minors and they were told that the information they revealed would be treated with utmost confidentiality.

On the part of InTouch Weekly, the news agency claimed that they are protected by the Freedom of Information Act (FOI ) in 2015 that they filed in order to publish the story about the investigation. It is also through this that they were able to obtain the official records surrounding the investigation. The Duggar sisters claims are founded on the premise that under the Arkansas law, authorities must not reveal any information regarding sexual misconduct when a minor is involved. They claimed that their reason of suing the city, the police and the publishers of In Touch Weekly is to protect the children who are victims of similar abuse.

Perhaps this controversy is just TLC's strategy to make noise and get the Duggars back on TV. Will the network touch the sensitive topic about the cheating and molestation allegations of Josh Duggar?
