Singer Janet Jackson had limited appearances on the entertainment scene since she tied the knot with her Qatar billionaire husband. And after giving birth to her first child at the age of 50, she has resurfaced to re-engage her fans once more. On Monday, Janet Jackson posted a personal video on her Twitter account. The pop star shared information with her fans about her breakup with her husband Wissam Al Mana. Miss Jackson also shared several projects that she is about to embark on and even spoke about the couple’s adorable 3 month-old son.

The prestigious Jackson family member, who was once very reserved, now seems to be more open about her life.

Just about two weeks ago, she surprised her fans when she uploaded a cute photo of her son Eissa Al-Manna on Instagram. The cute picture that was captioned “my baby and me after nap time” showed the adorable little tyke yawning on his mother’s shoulder with his eyes closed.

Jackson and Al-Mana already filed for divorce

In her Twitter video, she jokingly told her fans that she was Janet, just in case they didn’t recognize her since she had gained quite a few pounds during her pregnancy. The pop icon further stated that she thanked God for her healthy child, adding that he is a sweet, loving, and happy baby. Jackson said she wants her fans to know the true story about her marriage rather than listening to rumors.

The pop artist, in her own words, confirmed that the couple decided to go their separate ways.

The singer also said the court is handling the couple's divorce and said that she is leaving everything in God’s hand. The news of the split from Al Mana surprised everyone in April since the couple had just welcomed their new son, Eissa.

A few days after the reported split, moving trucks were seen at the home that she shared with the Qatar billionaire.

Jackson renamed her 'Unbreakable Tour'

Reportedly, Jackson was seen shopping around London for a new apartment for her and her son. Several sources confirmed that baby Eissa will be staying with her until the couple decides on a custody arrangement.

Janet also shared that she was getting ready to resume her canceled tour. However, the singer said she would rename the tour "The State of the World Tour." This, she said, is not about politics, but about the world and the love that people share for each other.

Close to the end of the video, Janet Jackson praised her fans for their continued support. She told them she could not wait to see them when she returned to the stage on September 7th. The famous singer, who has wowed her fans for over three decades ended the video with “See you soon!”
