In the midst of his promotional activities and guest appearances, Harry Styles spared some of his time to express his heartfelt condolences and love to the victims of the tragic incident at Ariana Grande's concert in Manchester last week. In fact, the One Direction member personally called a young fan who is still recovering in the hospital after sustaining injuries from the explosion.

The family of Freya, the 14-year-old victim of the attack, revealed Harry's kind gesture through a blog post. The statement provided an update of the school girl's condition, stating that Freya just woke up from sedation and has managed to give her father a kiss.

On the same day, the young Arianator received a call from Harry who expressed his love to Freya. After the unexpected call, the hospice where the victim is currently admitted commended the One Direction singer for his genuine kindness and thoughtfulness.

'A hole in my heart'

The horrible attack in Manchester took the lives of 22 people and left 59 others wounded, including Freya. The youngest victim of the explosion was an eight-year-old fan of Ariana, who came to witness her performance at the Manchester Arena along with her sister.

The incident came as a shocker not only to the victims and their families but also musicians and music lovers all over the world. Shortly after the blast took place, several artists expressed their condemnation of the act and offered their thoughts and prayers to those who were killed at the tragic occurrence.

Similarly, Harry offered a moment of silence to the victims of the attack during his concert show in Mexico. The "Sign of the Times" artist admitted he was looking forward to having a fun night with his fans, but after learning about the incident, the singer felt it was not the best time to celebrate.

The English singer and songwriter told his Mexican fans that the tragedy in his hometown has "left a hole in [his] heart." Harry also said that some of the best moments in his life happened at the Manchester Arena, where he held his first ever show.

After his emotional tribute to the victims of the Manchester attack, the One Direction singer addressed the crowd, saying that he would only stage acoustic performances instead of a full show in the wake of the tragedy.

Act of Terrorism

The British authorities have already identified the suspected suicide bomber at Ariana's UK concert.

A certain Salman Abedi was identified as the person behind the explosion. Aside from him, seven other individuals are currently in the custody of the police for their connection to the tragedy.

Meanwhile, Ariana is planning to hold a benefit concert in Manchester for the victims and the bereaved families.
