"Game of Thrones" teased fans with a rare and much-awaited reunion of the last remaining Stark children. Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Sophie Turner (Sansa), Maisie Williams (Arya), and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran) posed in an epic photoshoot for Entertainment Weekly as their characters in the hit HBO series.

In the photos, Jon Snow, Sansa, Arya, and Bran are all dressed in leather and black fur--a traditional outfit for Northern nobles. Interestingly, big brother Jon Snow, who's now proclaimed as the King in the North, wears the Stark sigil of dire wolves in his armor.

'GoT' Spoilers: Will the Starks reunite for season 7?

Here's why the photos are epic: all four characters have not been seen together in one scene since "Game of Thrones" Season 1, Episode 1. The Stark family are known to be the most honorable house in all of Westeros, but their fate is also the most tragic. Their father Ned Stark was beheaded, while their mother Catelyn and eldest brother Robb have been killed in the infamous Red Wedding. Their youngest brother, Rickon, was killed last season by the vicious Ramsey Bolton.

Worse, the four children have been forced to be separated.

In "Game of Thrones" Season 6, fans got a mini-Stark reunion with Sansa and Jon Snow finally reuniting and reclaiming Winterfell. Will all four surviving Starks finally have a happy reunion in Season 7?

Stark reunion theories

When "GoT" Season 6 ended, only Jon Snow and Sansa Stark are together. Arya is finally back at Westeros after having spent two seasons in Bravos training under the Many-Faced God.

Popular fan theories suggest that she's on her way back to Winterfell, where she will hopefully reunite with her older siblings. Based on the recently released "Game of Thrones" Season 7 trailer, this scenario is quite possible, as Arya is seen traveling in winter garb.As for Bran, he has been living far north and is now the Three Eyed Raven.

As for Bran, he has been living far north and is now the Three Eyed Raven. He has also just unlocked the secrets of the past; will he make his way back to Winterfell to tell Jon Snow his shocking discoveries?

Of course, it has been revealed that Jon Snow isn't really their brother. Rather, he is their cousin through his mother Lyanna Stark, Ned's sister. Still, Jon is half Stark. He grew up knowing Sansa, Arya, and Bran as his siblings, and a reunion will definitely be a happy turning point in their unfortunate experiences.

"It would all kind of be a bit strange, after everything they've gone through," Sophie Turner said of the possible reunion.

"All of the Starks could sit down, have a meal that didn't end in one of them getting murdered. I think that would be nice," Isaac Hempstead Wright seconded.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 premieres on July 16 on HBO.
