Eden Sassoon was introduced to Bravo fans when she was added to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" last season. She was a part-time housewife, used to amp up the already intense cast. Sassoon initially bonded with Lisa Rinna but that quickly went south when the soap star used the heiress to avoid accountability for comments she made about Kim Richards.
Will Eden Sassoon return to 'RHOBH'?
Rumors have been swirling about whether or not Eden Sassoon would return for another season. Bravo announced several renewals last week and "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" was on it.
According to US Weekly, Eden Sassoon is not returning. She is one and done for the Bravo show. Fans aren't surprised because Sassoon caught a lot of criticism for being on the show and her behavior toward Kim Richards. She has developed a fan base but also a bandwagon of haters as well. This is a little bit sad for those who enjoyed the fresh face Eden brought but they also understand the bad outweighed the good in this circumstance.
The friendship Eden Sassoon developed with Lisa Rinna was promising in the beginning. The two seemed to get along really well, and there were hopes that it would continue. Then, Kim Richards and addiction was mentioned and everything went downhill. Rinna really threw Sassoon to the wolves despite making the comments about Richards on her own.
The fact that she didn't own anything she said immediately and deflected it to Eden. It was sad to watch as Lisa decided to throw her new friend under the bus and when she finally did own up to what was said, it was too late for Eden to repair anything.
Future of reality television for Eden Sassoon
While Eden Sassoon is done with "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," it doesn't mean she is done with reality television.
It seems like there were a few hints dropped about a possible return to the small screen. Sassoon is always so positive and upbeat, which has been a draw for some of her fans. Despite the hatred and mean spirited comments she has received, Eden is all about love and light. Giving her a show of her own would be a good move for any network, especially one where her true persona can be shown.
It will be a little more boring on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" without Eden Sassoon but fans wish her the best. Sometimes trying out something is the right thing to do, even if it just wasn't the right fit for what you had in mind for your life.
