Everyone wants to be a Marvel superhero, and for good reason. "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," the sequel to the breakout 2014 hit from James Gunn, has earned over $659 million at the worldwide box office, and it's about Marvel's lesser known superheroes, compared to the established "Iron Man," "Thor," and "Captain America" franchises. And that's not all. Last year's "Doctor Strange" was also a hit among the audiences, earning $677 million globally.

So it isn't a surprise when actors and actresses dream-cast themselves into Marvel superheroes. From Anna Kendrick's dream casting as Squirrel Girl to Gina Rodriguez hopes of becoming Marvel's America Chavez, everyone wants in on some superhero action.

Speaking of America Chavez, another Latina actress has come forward and shown interest in playing the character, if Marvel ever decides to bring her to the MCU. "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star Stephanie Beatriz recently took to Twitter to share that she would love to play America Chavez A.K.A. Marvel's Miss America in the MCU.

Marvel recently developed America Chavez's standalone comic book

In November 2016, "Juliet Takes a Breath" writer Gabby Rivera announced via Twitter that she was writing an America Chavez comic series for Marvel.

According to Refinery29, America Chavez is a queer Latina who appeared in 2013's "Young Avengers" comics, as well as in "Ultimates" and "A-Force." She was given a standalone comic book, which was released this March.

Marvel editor Wil Moss explained that America Chavez hails from the Utopian dimension where there are only women.

When her two mothers sacrificed themselves to protect the world, America was cut off and had to discover more about herself and her powers all on her own. Now whether Marvel plans to include America Chavez in the MCU in the near future, say in the yet-untitled fourth "Avengers" film, remains to be seen.

But one thing TV fans know is that "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" actress Stephanie Beatriz definitely wants in on the role.

Stephanie Beatriz tweets interest in America Chavez role

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star Stephanie Beatriz took to Twitter to share that she would love to play the role if it was written by Gabby Rivera herself.

According to Screen Rant, it's not a bad idea to want to see a big screen adaptation of the character, as her backstory finds her as a member of The Ultimates, with Black Panther and Captain Marvel. "Black Panther" is already

"Black Panther" is already arriving in the big screen on February 16, 2018, with Chadwick Boseman reprising his "Captain America: Civil War" role and taking the lead this time, with Ryan Coogler at the helm.

"Captain Marvel," on the other hand, is set to land in theaters on March 8, 2019, with Brie Larson as the titular character. Now whether Marvel decides to bring America Chavez to the big screen remains to be seen.

In the meantime, fans can catch Stephanie Beatriz on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," which is set to air its last two episodes of its fourth season this Tuesday on FOX.
