Arnold Schwarzenegger won't do 'The Expendables 4' without Stallone

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are among the iconic names in "The Expendables" sequel. Recently, Schwarzenegger revealed that he wouldn't appear in the upcoming sequel without his co-star Stallone. The "Terminator" actor added that "There is no Expendables without Sly. I would never do a movie without him, no."

Stallone withdraws from 'The Expendables 4' Installment

One of the representatives of the actor told the press that he has to withdraw from the fourth sequel because he can't find the essential elements of the film.

Stallone together with the Nu Image/Millennium chief Avi Lerner has been working on the new director, scripts, and other qualitative elements that they need for the production.

Stallone usually played as the leader of the team, Barney Ross, in the "Expendables" series while at the same time, he also is the co-writer of the first three installments and the director of the 2010 franchise inaugurating the movie.

On the other hand, Schwarzenegger also played on the first three installments as Trench. As "The Expendables 4" is currently in talks, the actor revealed that he knows no details about the upcoming sequel.

Accordingly, he hasn't seen the script yet, and he even doesn't know if the script is already there because the production wanted to start filming by August.

Schwarzenegger insists not to appear in the fourth film

Further, as Stallone withdraws from the fourth installment, Schwarzenegger also insisted that he won't do the film unless his character is properly developed. He wanted it done very well this time since the "Terminator" actor believes that it didn't happen in the 2014's "The Expendables 3."

The actor revealed that he knows his part was not written well in part 3, although he believes that it was made perfect in the first two installments. He also added that his co-star Stallone develops good ideas when it comes to the movie script of his role.

If the production can do it well for him, then he will do the next sequel despite the absence of Stallone.

Apparently, with these two big actors being involved with this production issues, "The Expendables 4" seems won't likely make its way to the big screen.

Nonetheless, fans just need to wait for some updates if there will be changes between these two actors. For now, fans can still watch Schwarzenegger with his recently released movie "Aftermath."
