Fans took it to Twitter last night to share their thoughts about “American Gods.” Its first few scenes feature the goddess of love, Bilquis, whose private body parts are swallowed by her lovers. Yetide Badaki told Business Insider that she happily filmed the scenes, and did not feel shy. People often hesitate to speak about this sensitive topic, but we cannot ignore the fact that sex is a must part of our lives.
“American Gods” is renewed for the second season, based on a 2001 novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman.
The story revolves around a young man, Shadow (Ricky Whittle), who is hired by a billionaire, Mr. Wednesday (Ian Mcshane), as his bodyguard. Speaking about the show, the Nigerian actress said that Bilguis is a beautiful goddess who finds lots of men and women to adore her during sex play. People will learn new things from this character and should stop calling it insane.

In 2012, “American Gods” writer Neil Gaiman stated HBO was interested in adapting the novel into TV series.
In May 2013, he sold the rights to Starz for $35 million, with Michael and Bryan serving as directors.

The first teaser trailer for “American Gods” was released in June 2016, at San Diego Comic-Con International.
The series premieres each week in the US on Starz. All episodes become available on Amazon Prime immediately after the US broadcast.
The show has received satisfactory comments from television critics and audiences. On Metacritic, it has an average score of 77 out of 100 based on 31 reviews. On Rotten Tomatoes, its approved rating is 92% based on 46 reviews.
Yetide Badaki as an actress
Born in Nigeria, Yetide Badaki is a beautiful and talented actress. She is currently playing Bilquis on “American Gods.” She completed her graduation from McGill University with a major in English Language and Literature and a minor in Ecology. Yetide earned her master’s degree in Fine Arts from Illinois State University.
In 2006, she began her acting career from “I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document Given to Me,” and received several awards for the incredible performance.
