This summer, four big-budget movies will hit a theater near you. The lineup includes “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: dead men tell No Tales,” “Wonder Woman,” and “cars 3.” As blockbuster season expands into every month of the calendar, it’s always summer in Hollywood. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2’
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will swing into theaters on May 5. This movie is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team “Guardians of the Galaxy.” The project is co-produced by Marvel Studios and will be distributed Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
It is a sequel to 2014’s blockbuster “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
The cast includes Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker, and Dave Bautista. Sean Gunn, Kurt Russell, and Sylvester Stallone have been recruited for the supporting roles. For its marketing and promotion, Marvel Studios has partnered with Lego, Funko, LB Kids, and Hasbro.
‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’
“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” gets a release date of May 26. It is one of the most anticipated films of the season. The movie is directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg. Jeff Nathanson and Jerry Bruckheimer have penned the script. Geoffrey Rush, Johnny Depp, and Kevin McNally have returned from the previous installment as Hector, Jack, and Gibbs, respectively.
It is, however, rumored that the future “Pirates of Caribbean” films will be made without Johnny Depp. Captain Jack Sparrow is pursued by an old rival, Armando Salazar. Jack is in search of the Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that grants its possessor total control over the sea.
‘Wonder Woman’
“Wonder Woman” is a fictional superhero movie by Warner Bros.
Pictures. It is intended to be the fourth installment in the DC Extended Universe. Patty Jenkins has directed and co-produced the film, with a screenplay by Geoff Johns and Allan Heinberg. Gal Gadot plays the leading role in this movie. The Amazon Princess, daughter of Hippolyta, has many strengths and powers.
The actress describes that she plays a young nurse in this movie.
She is pure, intelligent, and hard working. This confident lady lives on the island of Themyscira. Gadot was pregnant with her second child, but underwent a diet and training regimen. Previously, Élodie Yung and Olga Kurylenko were being considered for the main character, but the filmmakers chose Gadot after seeing her performance in “Fast & Furious.”
‘Cars 3.'
“Cars 3” will hit a theater near you on June 3. It is one of the most anticipated films. “Cars 3” is a joint project of Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures, and the third installment in the “Cars” franchise. After the success of “Cars” in 2006 and “Cars 2” in 2011, the studio announced that a new generation high-tech film is in the works.
The cast includes Owen Wilson, Cristela Alonzo, Armie Hammer, Bonnie Hunt, Jenifer Lewis, and Lloyd Sherr. The world of Lightning McQueen and Mater is hugely popular around the US, so we have high expectations for this movie.
